Netflix series Top Boy on a London team's Nike jerseys The strange relationship between the brand and television seriality continues after the kits provided for the new season of Ted Lasso

Nike and the world of TV Series meet again, this time on the jerseys of Hackney Wick, a semi-professional London team rooted in one of the most multi-ethnic communities in the English capital. After partnering with the Ted Lasso TV Series team, AFC Richmond, to create kits for the upcoming season of the Apple+ series, this time it will go the reverse route, affixing the logo of one of Netflix Uk's flagship series, Top Boy, to the London club's jerseys.

The jersey is a collaborative effort between Nike and LABRUM brand founder and designer Foday Dumbuya for the 2022/23 season. The kits are adorned with LABRUM's signature zig-zag pattern, which is inspired by traditional African art, a nod to community and the different cultures that intertwine. The Top Boy logo is prominently displayed on the chest, while LABRUM branding can be found on the right sleeve, with Hackney Wick FC's charity, Grassroots For Good on the left.

The Hackeny Wick FC is a local reality that puts in front of the sporting results the values of integration, equality and unity between different communities, feelings that the jersey wanted to celebrate in its design and that also run through the Netflix series Top Boy, very popular at home and that will ensure visibility to the initiatives of the team.
