The new Chihuahua Tacos jersey inspired by the Club de Futbol América Designed by Studio Temp and produced by SDG Studio, it will be available from November 2

For its first drop Chihuahua Tacos - an artisanal Mexican street food born a few years ago in Milan, where it immediately won the hearts of its customers - decided to take inspiration from 90s football. In particular, the jersey, which will be released on the occasion of Dias de Los Muertos, has been designed starting from the iconic Club de Futbol América jersey of 1995. The 90s will forever remain in the heart and eyes of every football jersey fan. An aesthetic that, as well as continuing to influence the kit creators of each brand, extends far beyond just football.

The uniform was designed by Studio Temp and produced by SDG Studio, and is entirely made in Italy. The entire structure of the jersey recalls that of Club America, from the badge to the pattern. Obviously, the colours are different, as they reflect the historical colours of Chihuahua Tacos. The release is accompanied by an editorial that tells the love story between a Mexican boy and an Italian girl, sealing the encounter between the two cultures that finds its highest expression in the cuisine of Chihuahua Tacos.

The iconicity of Club America's jerseys has always been at such a high level that they have been included in the top 50 jerseys of all time by football magazines, combined with their most famous jersey sponsor: Coca Cola. FourFourTwo has described the team's kits as 'the most hipster in football history', and you can't argue with that. Chihuahua Tacos has dusted off a great classic, mixing the club's hipster aesthetic with Mexican culture, resulting in a modern jersey with roots in the past.

The jersey will be available from 2 November at Chihuahua Tacos restaurants.
