Ultràdelicious, a new podcast hosted by Maurizio Tentella, Food selector and Gastronauta, will start on 14 October. It will deal with and unite two themes that are as dear as they are fundamental to Italians: food and football. Artist, art critic and gastronomist, Maurizio Tentella will travel around Italy dedicating each episode to a different city and accompanying listeners to discover an immense feeling for the best teams in Italian football. For years Tentella has been searching for unique places and products to eat and restaurants that he defines as "StellaRI", creating real guides. Now he will have the task of mixing culinary culture and fans, using unforgettable seasons and others as a narrative pretext. Everything will be seasoned, like a real star dish, by special guests who will accompany the presenter in each episode, as well as original vintage audio, and the voices and advice of local insiders: from illustrious fans to famous restaurateurs, passing through protagonists and old legends of the football world.

The Spotify-produced podcast will look at epic victories and equally memorable debacles, and how cheering and good food help prepare for the former and digest the latter. Because beyond defeats and victories and the methods to remedy them, there is no doubt that football and food are inextricably linked, both on the sporting side, just think of Cristiano Ronaldo's strict diet, and on the ultras side, which from city to city has different rituals and traditions. 

Ultràdelicious will made up of 16 episodes that will be published every Thursday on Spotify, with the aim of starting a journey that will make you rediscover the taste for the away game and maybe even alleviate a possible defeat with stories you've never heard before. Between a trip to the tavern and a third time at the osteria, Maurizio Tentella will make you relive those sporting Sundays lived halfway between the stadium (or the sofa for the lazy ones) and the dining room, keeping your jaw moving and your taste buds constantly in heaven.
