Castore will be the new Sevilla FC kit supplier

Castore will be the new Sevilla FC kit supplier The British brand could make its debut in La Liga in 2022

After sponsoring Andy Murray - who in the meantime has become a partner of the founding brothers Beahon - and making his Premier League debut with Wolverhampton, Castore is ready for another important step in the football market. According to what was reported by 2Playbook first and by Footy Headlines then, from the 2022-23 season Sevilla FC will leave Nike and replace the Swoosh with the English brand. The contract with the Beaverton brand will expire next summer (2022) and that will be the moment when Castore could come into play.

The figures of this agreement have not been disclosed mainly because the sponsorship is not yet official. What is known, however, is that Nike currently pays 2.3 million euros per season into the coffers of the Andalusian club, plus any bonuses related to victories and qualifications. Nike's sponsorship pyramid - with the latest update dated 2020 - sees Sevilla in the third category (Standard) of teams along with Young Boys, Brighton, Maccabi Haifa, Vitesse and Utrecht. Failure to "switch" towards the Elite and Premium teams could be one of the main reasons for the break with Nike.
