From center owner of the Los Angeles Lakers to producer and composer is a moment. The step becomes longer if Javale McGee takes it, a character who escapes all logic and can only be defined in one way: out-of-ordinary. The son of the great Pam McGee untied his basketball shoes and dived into the world of music, one of his passions.

Pierre Mustache - Javale McGee's alter ego who transforms himself into this imaginary character thanks to the mustache he has tattooed on one of his finger - has been playing one of his best seasons since he was in the NBA, yet it seems that success does not stop at basketball. In the last few hours he has formalized the collaboration with Justin Bieber, writing and producing the song "Available", track number 6 of Bieber's latest album "Changes".

It is not the first time that McGee has to do with the music industry. Already in 2018, Pierre -  his pseudonym which he uses to be recognized as a producer - released a self-titled album recorded and produced entirely in his private studio in Inglewood. Former Lakers such as Lonzo Ball and Lance Stephenson were involved in creating that album.

Javale follows a trend that is already widespread in the NBA: Lou Williams has recently released an EP entitled "Syx Piece"; Victor Oladipo made it to the semifinals of "The Masked Singer" (an American musical talent show); Damian Lillard is  Dame D.O.L.L.A, the first NBA player to perform during an All-Star Game.
