It was a run-off between Germany and Turkey and between 'two strong bids', as President Aleksander Ceferin wanted to underline, but in the end the German proposal won (12 votes against 4). 'Every democratic decision is the right decision', continued the Slovenian football administrator, before give the turn to one of the German testimonial, Philip Lahm, and to the president of the Federation, Reinhard Grindel.

 

It 's clear that it's still so early to know more details about of the 2024 continental kermesse, which will follow the tournament that will start in 2020 and that will also pass from Rome. What we know, however, is the name of the 10 stadiums that should host the tournament: the Olympiastadion in Berlin and the Allianz Arena in Munich, of course, and then again the Westfalen Stadion in Dortmund, the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, the Mercedes-Benz Stuttgart Arena, the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, the Esprit Arena in Düsseldorf, the RheinEnergie Stadion in Cologne, the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig and the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt.
