Nole style Novak Djokovic won the US Open with a rave style polo

It is not in our special ranking of the 10 most controversial US Open outfits, but the kit worn by Novak Djokovic during the American tournament is something absolutely new. The Serbian champion, who just beat Del Potro conquering his 14th Slam, after having dressed Sergio Tacchini and Uniqlo, is now Lacoste's testimonial. And the French brand, which already sponsors a lot of athletes not only from France, for example Hyeon Chung, Roberto Bautista-Agut, Jeremy Chardy and Benoit Paire, has created an outfit that is anything but ordinary for Djokovic, something unique that does not remember at all the minimalist and standard style that has always accompanied the crocodile's look.

A 90s rave polo? The 'Novak Djokovic on court premium edition' collection has a very special pattern made up of irregularly moving lines, present in four different colors, obviously with the Nole's personal logo on the sleeve: a white polo shirt that goes with the black shorts, a dark one with white shorts, a red one and a blue one, the one that the Serbian champion wore for most of the tournament and especially during the final. We still do not know if it will become a collector's item, or we'll talk about it for years, but in the meantime, it's still on sale at not too popular prices on the official Lacoste store.
