Scuderia Ferrari unveiled the new SF71H The new Italian single-seater will try to bring the title back to Maranello for the first time since 2007

Today it was the day, the one that every Ferrari enthusiast was expecting for the last months. In a snowy Maranello, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen had the chance to take the first look to the SF71H, the single-seater made by the Italian factory that will try to dispute the title to Mercedes, and particularly to Lewis Hamilton, that brought the title home in three of the last four seasons.

The sixty-fourth single-seater made by Ferrari is the evolution of the 2017 SF70H, that undergo the necessary modifications subordinated to the recent regulations changes, like the removal of one of the four V6 engines and most of all the introduction of the Halo, the protection system for the drivers that forced Maranello engineers to redesign the entire balancing of the car. From an aesthetic point of view, it can be appreciated a strong return of the Ferrari Red color, that covers the most part of the new Italian car. The only white red is the engine bonnet fin, where there also is the Italian Tricolore.

In the next days, the SF71H will be moved to the Circuit of Catalunya, in Barcelona, where there will be the first tests of the season - from 26 to March 1, and then from March 6 to 9 - and where Vettel and Raikkonen will have the chance to try the new car for the first time. Hoping it will be able to bring Ferrari where it belongs.
