How does a retailer with a decade-long history evolve and change according to the fashion world's trends? The answer can be traced in the work of LUISAVIAROMA, that on the occasion of its 90th anniversary and during Pitti Uomo 96, has given life to an innovative pop-up in Florence. The leader retailer in the luxury world was one of the first to understand and support the streetwear and sneakers phenomenon, blending its aesthetic codes with the ones typical of the industry. An exemplary case was the release of the Nike ZoomX Vista Grind, which surprise dropped one month before the official release date on the LUISAVIAROMA website and at its physical store in Florence. But not only, but LUISAVIAROMA also has given life to a real exclusive private sneaker club, LVR Sneakers Club, that can be accessed only through registration, where you can participate in exclusive raffles and where you have the chance to buy in advance the most coveted silhouettes of the season. All available on an innovative and well-designed app easy to use.

On the occasion of Pitti Uomo 96LUISAVIAROMA has given life to a special pop-up in Florence to present a unique project. The luxury online retailer has in fact chosen 5 contemporary streetwear brands to collaborate on a special capsule that bears the aesthetic and the vibes of Los Angeles. Among the designers chose, the name of Ian Connor and of his brand Sicko stand out, a label first worn exclusively by Virgil Abloh that in a very short period of time has established as one of the most interesting fashion realities in the world. Along with him, we find Daff, Zack Bia and Jonah, Li Hoyee and Gabe, and Sahara Ray. Every capsule features two or three items that bear the Californian style and trends.

LUISAVIAROMA is definitely one of the absolute protagonists not only of the luxury world but also of the streetwear and sneaker game. As special guests at the pop-up, there were two of the personalities that are shaping the current fashion and sneaker world: Raven Tracy e Zack Bia

Our Ilaria Bigg went to the LUISAVIAROMA pop-up where she had the chance to sit down and chat with Raven Tracy, founder of the brand Body, which aims at empowering women in all shapes and sizes, and with Zack Bia, a real authority when it comes to sneakers and streetwear. Here's what they told us.
