The Super Bowl in 5 points Feb. 7, 2016

It's the sport event that stops America, stucking an impressive number of spectators in front of the big screen. But it's not just sport. It's show. It's business.

The Super Bowl is an important showcase for brands, artists and upcoming movies, a multifaceted creature that moves millions of dollars and invades the mass and social media. This year marked its 50th edition, held on Sunday afternoon at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, where the Denver Broncos won against the Carolina Panthers 24-10.

Peyton Manning's team, one of the strongest quarterback ever who seems to be about to announce his retirement from professional football, beats all the predictions winning the NFL championship after a game focused on defence and tactics that amuse the public.

Even the much-anticipated half-time show, the musical performance between the second and third game time, appears to be less spectacular than other years. No scandals like Janet Jackson and free nipples or lavish sets and triumphal entrances such as Katy Perry riding a giant robot lion.

The triad Coldplay, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, preceded by Lady Gaga singing the national anthem, alternates on stage. You missed it? No panic: here are the five best moments of this edition of the Super Bowl.

#1 Angels vs Demons. The Angels of Victoria's Secret honor the final NFL with a video in which they become football players. Among pirouettes, touchdown passes and Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes and Taylor Hill play the game sexier than ever.

#2 God bless Gaga. Before the game Lady Gaga sings the national anthem, dressed in the colors of the flag: red, white and blue. The eclectic artist wears a metallic red suit made for her by Alessandro Michele, Gucci's head designer, who comments on the collaboration: "I've always been intrigued and fascinated by Gaga. She is a chameleon, she has the capability to fully express her individuality and her eclectic personality by simply being herself. When she asked me to create an outfit for such a symbolic moment at the Super Bowl, I was very honored. I went for red: pure energy for an energetic woman performing on an energizing event".

#3 Queen Bey. The main guests of the half-time show this year were Coldplay, but the prize for the coolest exhibition goes to Beyonce. She sings, she dances, she wins. She presents her new single Formation to the public, one of her most politically engaged pieces, in which she sings lines like "I like my baby hair, with baby hair and afros / I like my black nose with nostrils Jackson Five". Accompanied by 38 dancers in black leather oufits made by Zana Bayne recalling the Black Panthers, the singer chooses a Dsquared2 look inspired by the look worn by Michael Jackson in a 1993 performance. That's all? No, beautiful B. announces her world tour that will arrive in Milan on July 18.

#4 Snickers Marilyn. The event of the Super Bowl is an important commercial showcase, and the major brands do the race to present their products during the commercial break. The spots are always the most fun, spectacular, full of celebrities. The most interesting this year? What about Willem Defoe in the shoes of Marilyn Monroe for Snickers? "I have to admit playing a Hollywood bombshell is a new challenge for me, but as a huge fan of, I just couldn’t resist the opportunity to take a walk in her shoes and famous white dress". If Willem says so...

#5 Believe in Love. Beyoncé, Bruno Mars and Chris Martin on stage together for the finale of the show, while a video homage to the performers of the previous editions, from the Rolling Stones to James Brown and the public with thousands of colored cards form the words Believe in Love.
