A movie based on Baywatch, a '90s cult series focused on a group of Californian lifeguards led by David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, is officially coming.
Do we really need this?
Maybe not, but we'll have to adapt. The protagonists of the film - no allowed to under 17 years (?) in US - will be Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, and the former star of the TV show Quantico Priyanka Chopra.
The plot? The lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) joins forces with the bad boy (Efron) to stop an oil tycoon who wants to destroy their beach.
Compelling.
Watch the trailer and remember that Baywatch The Movie hits theaters on May 26 in US and June 1 in Italy.
