Kanye West finally releases the highly-anticipated album 'Jesus Is King'

When at midnight of Friday, October 25 there was no sign of Kanye West's new album on none of the major streaming platforms, it was Ye himself to take it to Twitter to thank his fans for being 'loyal & patient', adding that he was not going to sleep until the album was perfect and out. 

Jesus Is King arrives after months of announcements and postponements. There was the Jesus Is King day, as announced by Kim Kardashian, which originally was supposed to be the release date of the record, during which only a few lucky people were able to listen to Ye's new work. Then there was the namesake documentary directed by Nick Knight and shot in James Turrell's Roden Crater which remained in American theatres for almost a week.
