The Portanuova Music Fest 2026 Brings Three Days of Emerging Music to the Heart of Milan From September 18 to 20, the neighborhood transforms into a large free stage featuring over 50 artists and four stages
The second edition of the Portanuova Music Fest returns to Milan — the free festival dedicated to Italy's new music scene. Following the success of 2025, which drew over 20,000 attendees, the event takes place on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September, with an early opening already on 17 September. Four stages spread across the neighbourhood (Piazza Gae Aulenti, Piazza Alvar Aalto and surrounding spaces) will host concerts, showcases, DJ sets and live performances.
Among the already announced headliners are Eugenio In Via Di Gioia, Rares, PierC (one of the recent breakout acts from X Factor), Chiamamifaro, Carla Hero, España Circo Este, Le Nora, Giargo, Vittoria Sciacca and many other emerging talents. Produced in collaboration with Openstage, a leading name in artist scouting, the festival also offers a valuable opportunity to engage with the music industry: throughout the weekend, representatives from Warner Music, Universal Music, Sony Music and Sugar Music will be in attendance.
Beyond the music, audiences can enjoy an immersive, participatory experience by collecting exclusive magnets dedicated to each of the four stages and assembling them into an illustration of the Portanuova skyline. A journey that invites visitors to explore the entire neighbourhood and celebrate emerging creativity in one of the city's most dynamic and sustainable districts.
