5 things to do in Milan this weekend From October 3 to 5
The sun is back in Milan, ready to brighten and warm up a little the first autumn days of this 2025. It’s the perfect moment to enjoy Milan at its best, as the city blossoms in this season with pop-ups, exhibitions, openings and events of all kinds, including the much-needed general strike on Friday, October 3 for Gaza and the arrival in Palestine of humanitarian aid from the Global Sumud Flotilla. If this September you were stuck at home because of bad weather or too busy due to Fashion Week, this weekend and its 20 degrees offer the perfect chance to relax, have fun, without forgetting to stand up for the rights of those without a voice.
Here are, meanwhile, 5 things to do in Milan from October 3 to 5.
To Eat - Sushi Matsu Omakase
On October 1st, Milan saw the opening of the first restaurant in Italy entirely dedicated to the Japanese gastronomic experience of Omakase, with a 100% Japanese team: founder Taka Matsu and chefs Hirohiko Shimizu and Daigo Wakui. At a chef’s table with only twelve seats, guests can enjoy a different tasting journey every evening in a unique, minimal and harmonious design setting, created by Studio Takeda in Milan.

To Discover - Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro
Starting October 4, the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro presents the fourth edition of Open Studio, a series of exhibitions that offer the public new insights into the work and life of Arnaldo Pomodoro. The fourth edition is dedicated to the artist’s spatialist experiments, his "American years" and the iconic Sphere. From October 4, visits and workshops also reopen in Arnaldo Pomodoro’s studio—the former organized by the Foundation’s Education Department, the latter designed for families, youth, and adults. The workshops include paper art, plaster casting, sculpture, and printmaking.

To Shop - WAVES MARKET at Fondazione Sozzani
Sunday, October 5, the spaces of Fondazione Sozzani dedicated to emerging and independent fashion will come alive from 11:00 to 20:00 with Waves Market, a selection of clothing, accessories and objects signed by a new generation of Italian talents, including Federico Cina, Florania, Nicolò Pasqualetti and Marco Rambaldi. Between limited editions and new arrivals, visitors can explore up close all the fresh creations offered by these visionary brands in the romantic and relaxing spaces of the Foundation.

To Chill - Take to the streets
While waiting for the demonstration on Saturday, October 4 in Rome, this week all of Italy—from Turin to Naples, passing through Genoa and Bologna—has shown its support for Palestine and the Global Sumud Flotilla. On October 3 in Milan, another demonstration will take place, starting from 9 in the morning at Porta Venezia and marching to Città Studi, a symbolic gesture by the city to show solidarity with the victims of genocide and support humanitarian aid now stationed off the Palestinian coast.
To Club - La Boum
On Friday, October 3, La Boum returns to Milan with an edition entirely dedicated to Show Girls in the spaces of Lime Milano. The night comes alive with energy, glitter and spectacular performances, with drag shows intertwining pop and commercial sounds to turn the dance floor into a boundless celebration.
