Kanye wants to build a city in the Middle East Four times the size of Paris

If there's one thing we've learned over the years, it's that Kanye West never leaves anything to chance. The rapper, for the production of Vultures - which, according to the latest news, is set to debut on December 31 - spent several days in the Middle East in AlUla, northwest of Saudi Arabia. The Middle East is precisely the region where Ye would like to build his city: four times larger than Paris and 50% larger than New York, these are the initial plans for the utopian project. It's unimaginable that the idea could materialize quickly, which is why Kanye has chosen to move well in advance, announcing that the city will be named YZY DROAM, and opening job applications for builders, project managers, engineers, and architects.

Just a few months ago, Kanye West trademarked the names Droam and Villadroam, which would likely be involved in the construction of YZY DROAM. Furthermore, Kanye West had stated that he had this project in mind as early as 2022: Rolling Stones reported that two sources very close to him had stated that Kanye's city - then called Yecosystem - would host buildings and YZY-branded stores. But even before 2022, Kanye had envisioned a project like this: a community that was supposed to arise in Wyoming, and the project was well underway. The floor plan of YZY CITY was even shared on Twitter, and among the credited architects were names like Abe Salman, Tanil Raif, and Bianca Censori, Ye's current wife. In short, it is now certain that building a city is Kanye's dream. Meanwhile, the rapper has put his famous Malibu villa, designed by architect Tadao Ando, up for sale for a figure around €48 million, according to Robb Report.
