Sneakers to release this weekend From Friday 27th to Sunday 29th, 2017

Woah, what a busy week for sneakers. adidas have been straying away from their Boost technology as of late and been pushing their EQT model, which we’re huge fans of. In addition, we saw Stone Island’s collaboration with Nike on the Sock Dart which released in black, olive and navy. The fusion of Stone Island’s use of technical materials on an up and coming silhouette is refreshing to see. Let’s get into the weekend releases, which is an eclectic mix of sneakers

#1 Nike Flyknit Racer “Red/Black”

As one of Nike’s signature models to release in the last few years, the Flyknit Racer sees a return in a bold colourway. This sneaker features an all Flyknit upper, which takes on a deep red colourway with black stitching throughout. As you can expect, this will sit above a Lunar sole, which should provide the wearer with impact protection. Given the hype and popularity of this model, we expect these to sell out quick!

Release Information: This sneaker will release Friday, January 27th for a price of £130. You’ll be able to pick these up from stockists such as Offspring and Nike.

#2 Nike Lunarcharge Premium “Brown/White” Womens

The Nike Lunarcharge saw its debut release back in November and was a hit amongst sneakerheads. The sneaker draws elements from classic Nike models, such as the Air Max 90 and Nike Air Flow. This model will feature an all-neoprene upper and Lunarcharge technology, which has been dubbed, ‘Unbelievably advanced and comfortable.’ The Nike Lunarcharge will release in a seasonal brown colourway. As these will be released exclusively in women’s sizes, you might not be so lucky to fit into them!

Release Information: This sneaker will release Friday, January 27th for a price of £120. You’ll be able to pick these up from stockists such as Afew Store and Suppa Store.

#3 Jordan 8 “Take Flight”

What would the weekend be without a Jordan release? Jordan brand is still going strong despite strong competition from rivals such as Adidas. The “Take Flight” model takes upon a dark green colourway, premium leather upper and a soft mesh lining giving it an OG feel. In signature Jordan 8 style, this model will feature the bulky strap across the midfoot and a buckle round the heel for additional fastening. Don’t hang around when these release as you can expect them to fly out!

Release Information: This sneaker will release Saturday, January 28th for a price of £150. You’ll be able to pick these up from retailers such as Nike and Afew Store.

#4 NikeLab SFB Jungle Dunk x UNDERCOVER Pack

One of the boldest and toughest silhouettes we’ve seen from Nike in the last 12 months, I’m sure UNDERCOVER had something to do with that…This collaboration stays true to the Dunk silhouette, thanks to the upper, but offers an underfoot which we would expect from a military boot. Nonetheless, we are really feeling this collaboration. The collaboration will feature the choice of either a black or blue/white colourway, both of which are covered head-to-toe in premium leather, preparing you for the outdoors. To top it off, this model features a unique lacing system and metal eyelets.

Release Information: This sneaker will release Saturday, January 28th for a price of £199. You’ll be able to pick these up from stockists such as Hanon Shop and Nike

#5 adidas EQT

The protagonists of the week was definitely the adidas EQT. The launch of sneakers, directly from the 90's, is a real message to all the new generations who unwittingly or not, carry on the trade of the decade.

Release information: These sneakers are available in stores and on the adidas website.

#6 adidas Consortium x Colette x UNDEFEATED Pack

This collaboration is between adidas, Colette and UNDEFEATED; it will see the release of the Campus 80 and EQT model. The Campus 80 features an all leather upper, an off-white midsole and royal accents on the heel. The EQT, however, features a dark navy and deep blue upper with an off-white midsole.

Release Information: This sneaker will release Saturday, January 28th for between €130-€150. You’ll be able to pick these up from stockists such as End Clothing and Slam Jam Socialism
