Watch Kenzo’s new short film “Snowbird”

Kenzo’s relationship with the cinema world is now well-known. After the short film directed by Gregg Araki last season, Here Now, for SS16 the brand has released today another mini production by American director Sean Baker (Four Letter Words, Tangerine).
Snowbird, that’s the title of the work, has been shot entirely using an iPhone 6, equipped only with a clip-on lens and post produced with an 8$ app. The protagonist is Australian model and actress Abbey Lee Kershaw, who is also the face of the brand’s SS16 campaign.
In the film Abbey plays Young Theo, a young woman belonging to a nomad community – the Snowbird, exactly – who goes visit her fellow citizens offering them a piece of cake, and a smile.
