Nhu Duong FW 2013 Collection

Nhu Duong, Vietnamese origin but grew up in Sweden, where she attended the Beckmanns College of Design, and then moved to Berlin and here creates her fashion brand. Daughter of a seamstress and a master of kung-fu, Nhu is a citizen of the world, capable of fusing together tradition and experimentation, always remaining contemporary.

In the autumn-winter collection plays with structures, proportions, shapes and cuts looking for a sophisticated and captivating sportswear that combines portability and refinement. Laces, uneven seams, cuts ad hoc, technical materials and iridescent fabrics, reflective give the entire line a futuristic allure and distorted charm. Animal, graphics tribal work like punk, make the designer's creations stylistic hybrid between sport and urban glam. Nhu Duong is looking for a balance between the different influences, for an identity that makes her brand unique and recognizable and, so far, seems to be on track.
