Jacquemus and Timberland Reveal Their Second Collaboration A Shoe in a Tiffany Blue Hue
After making waves with their first reinterpretation of the boat shoe, Simon Porte Jacquemus and American outdoor brand Timberland join forces once again. This second collaboration seamlessly fuses the sun-drenched aesthetic of the Provençal designer with the rich workwear heritage of the Boston-based brand.
At the heart of this creation lies a bold aesthetic statement: a vibrant lagoon blue that instantly evokes Californian pools and the optimism of sunny days. This shade, which is already establishing itself as the must-have color of the season across both fashion and beauty, was not chosen by chance. It draws its origins from the geometric lines of Art Deco architecture and the saturated palettes of the 1980s Memphis movement. Insiders will also recognize it as a signature theme of the house of Jacquemus, as this very hue previously punctuated the silhouettes of his Spring-Summer 2027 collection, titled "Le Bonheur."
Far from settling for a simple color change, this collaboration pushes attention to detail even further by marrying Timberland’s rugged DNA with French refinement. The shoe retains its robust structure in Premium Timberland® full-grain leather - renowned for its durability - complemented by a full leather lining that ensures optimal comfort. The model's visual identity relies on a striking contrast: the traditional silhouette of the boat shoe is mounted on the outdoor brand's iconic lugged rubber sole, offering a textured grip and a hybrid silhouette.
From the Tree logo embossed on the shoe's quarter to the leather laces, everything is adorned in this uniform lagoon blue. Meanwhile, the Jacquemus signature is expressed through custom-designed metal hardware. Discreet charms and personalized aglets embellish the shoe like real pieces of jewelry.
