Here's what went down during the new edition of LAUD END PRAUD
Queer Nature show chronicled diversity in surprising ways
June 23rd, 2025
Cacti, orchids, butterflies, beetles, penguins, and clownfish were the symbolic figures of the new show by LAUD END PRAUD, the annual Milan Pride event that combines fashion and activism for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community. Organized by Andrea Semeghini, creative director of VANADIO23, the event brings together some of the most important names in independent Italian fashion on the same runway, such as Be Nina, Lorenzo Seghezzi, Florania, Andreazza, Simon Cracker, and Domenico Orefice. Under the name Queer Nature, the 2025 edition looked to the animal world and how its diversity can inspire contemporary society. This year, LAUD END PRAUD also benefited from the contribution of IED, allowing design students from the school to add their voices to this collective celebration, while proceeds from the sale of all the looks from the show, available on June 24 at the PWC pop-up (via Pietro Custodi, 12), will be donated to Sportello Trans ALA Milano Onlus, which supports the social inclusion of transgender people.
