The Moncler Genius saga continues

The new collection by Moncler and Palm Angels The Moncler Genius saga continues

At the heart of the Moncler Genius platform from the very beginning, the Moncler x Palm Angels collections by Francesco Ragazzi have unfolded over time as different chapters of the same book, promoting values of freedom, originality, and lightness. This lightness is expressed, on one hand, through amplified volumes and soft textures, and on the other hand, through an hedonistic conception of freedom. The epic event, The Art of Genius, during London Fashion Week in February 2023, where a community of thousands was immersed in the Palm Angels foam party in collaboration with Boiler Room London, set the pace for this year's collection. These very atmospheres inspired the new campaign directed by Suzie and Leo, where the theme of determination translates into a series of images that depict the carefree spirit of the protagonists, portrayed as if floating through each frame.

The gender-neutral collection further explores Ragazzi's enduring fascination with American style, particularly from the 1990s, interpreted through the recognizable filter of Palm Angels. Ragazzi subverts timeless post-preppy codes on sweaters and quilted jackets with cable patterns, as well as on the distressed leather biker jacket. The world of rugby inspires striped quilting and polo shirts. There is also an oversized quilted model resembling a down jacket. Some details are taken from classic oxford shirts, used as a reference for button-down collars on zip-up jackets or an applied pocket shirt transformed into a down jacket. Prints on jackets and cargo pants mix with cricket stripes, while lightweight jackets are worn under oversized down jackets. The collection exudes a casual mood: oversized skater jeans and track pants complete the looks, accentuated by accessories such as beanies, caps, oversized bags, sunglasses, and Peka Trek boots with bold contrasting rubber details. The result is an interpretation of Californian preppy that is both easily recognizable and innovative.

The Moncler x Palm Angels collection will be available on moncler.com and palmangels.com, as well as in select Moncler and Palm Angels boutiques starting from October 26th.
