Balenciaga will present its new collection with a digital show

After returning in style with FW23 at Paris Fashion Week last March, Balenciaga is announcing a new digital fashion show to present its SS24 collection on 30 May. Following the controversy in November last year that saw the brand's first-quarter sales drop 9%, the Kering group is employing a series of targeted strategies to get the brand back on track. FW23 was a tribute to Cristobal's legacy and an attempt by Demna to bring the focus back to the garments and forget about the controversy. It remains to be seen whether Balenciaga will continue down the path of simplicity in the next collections or return to its past of creative designs and eccentric communication stunts.
