The famous Castel del Monte in Puglia will be the location of Gucci's next show, which will take place on May 16. The castle, built in the mid-200th century by Frederick II, is a location full of historical and esoteric meanings, but above all in its architecture it is the symbol of a multiculturalism that blends Germanic, Islamic and classical inspirations, representing Alessandro Michele's ultra-eclectic approach to design. In addition to using the historic site for its show, Gucci will contribute to the enhancement of the castle to improve the visitor experience.

After the two-year period of the pandemic, in which the choice of locations was forced to interiors, Michele resumes the tradition of shows in historical sites that has included in the past Westminster Abbey, the Promenade Des Alyscamps in Arles, the Palatine Gallery of the Pitti Palace, the Théâtre le Palace in Paris, the Palazzo Sacchetti and the Capitoline Museums in Rome.
