From now on Off-White™ will accept cryptocurrency
«Do you have spare Ethereum?»
March 31st, 2022
The Web 3.0 revolution is increasingly advancing in the luxury fashion mono: today, Off-White™ announced that its boutiques in Milan, Paris and London will begin accepting payments in cryptocurrencies. That includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, Ripple, Stablecoins Tether and USD Coin - the same currencies that hundreds of thousands of online collectors use in online metaverse to pay for their NFTs, digital artowork and custom skins. The decision to accept cryptocurrency payments opens up the brand to a much larger, decentralized and, most importantly, young customer base - considering how often online digital asset traders, often members of Gen Z or Millennials, manage to amass significant amounts of cryptocurrency with their strategic transactions.
Inside the boutiques, transactions will be processed using the LUNU POS terminal, which finds the best cryptocurrency exchange rate at the time of the transaction and is compatible with several crypto wallets that allow you to scan a QR code to settle the payment. After an automatic anti-fraud check, transactions can take place without payment limits. Refunds for all items purchased with cryptocurrency will be issued via store credit only, in the local currency.
