Michelin and Speedland revolutionize trail running with the SL: PDX Fully customizable to offer a unique experience

After two decades of experience in the world of footwear, Dave Dombrow and Kevin Fallon have decided to create a unique and innovative trail running shoe, the SL:PDX. Unique because it is completely customizable, starting from the sole up to the presence of an easily removable carbon fibre plate.

To create it, Dombrow and Fallon, founders of the Speedland brand, chose Michelin as their partner, which with its experience in the world of motorcycles has brought the necessary elements to the project to give life to an unprecedented sole thanks to the use of Michelin, a technology that allows runners to customize the sole from the first use to obtain the maximum safety, comfort and performance. Furthermore, the assembly system of the sole with stitching reduces the use of glues, making the shoe not only more sustainable in its construction but also easier to disassemble its components that can be disposed of and replaced to extend the life of the SL:PDX

Additionally, 10% of all profits from the sale of the SL:PDX will be donated to outdoor organizations chosen by Speedland sponsored athletes. At the moment the SL:PDX powered by soles by Michelin is only available in the United States but will soon arrive in Europe as well.
