The third Rick Owens x Birkenstock capsule collection

After two successful collaborations, Rick Owens and Birkenstock unveiled their third capsule together for the upcoming summer season. If the first two reinterpretations of the classic models of the German brand added to the silhouette of sandals and clogs some Owensian accents, this third get-together is the most radical to date, with a further emphasis on hardware and a single dominant colour: black.

Birkenstock's Arizona, Boston and Rotterdam models are in fact offered in an all-black colourway, and with leather constructions that also cover the sole. In addition to the slightly elongated straps taken from previous collaborations, rivets have also been added for this new chapter "that look like they came out of one of my favourite Fritz Lang movies", as Owens himself said. The Arizona and Boston models were also produced in the second version in iridescent metallic leather.
