How to talk about fashion on YouTube? Federico Barengo interviews prof. Andrea Batilla

Federico Barengo, brand consultant and content creator launches SONOSOLOCHIACCHIERE, a new format of critical discussion on fashion and streetwear on his Youtube channel BARENGO Streetwear

In the first episode he interviewed Andrea Batilla, former director of the IED, consultant, teacher and author of the book published by Feltrinelli Instant Fashion, a history of costume that goes from the Middle Ages to the present in which his many years of experience within the fashion system are reflected.

Andrea Batilla's career began in 1991 in Romeo Gigli's studio as a textile researcher. He then began working as a creative consultant and began his collaboration with IED Milano, which he later directed for five years working side by side with the legendary Franca Sozzani. In 2009 Batilla created both the association Platform System Training Fashion and the magazine PIZZA, dedicated to celebrating Italian creatives, which remains active until 2016. Meanwhile, Batilla becomes a specialist in creative direction, brand storytelling and product communication, collaborating with the National Chamber of Fashion and debuting last November as an author.

During this interview Federico Barengo and Andrea Batilla discussed topics ranging from the current state of the fashion landscape, to the fate of streetwear, to the critical sense in the press of the sector, the entry of Raf Simons in Prada.
