Dior x Jordan Brand's announce Air Dior Capsule Collection Travis Scott is the official face of the lookbook

The collaboration between Kim Jones and Jordan began last December with the Air Jordan 1 High OG Dior seen at the show in Miami for Dior's Pre-Fall 2020 collection. But on the closing day of Paris Fashion Week, Sunday, January 19th, the two brands announced that their partnership will not stop at sneakers and will include an entire capsule collection of clothes and accessories, which will arrive in a select number of stores and pop-ups Dior next April. The collection was revealed through a lookbook starring Travis Scott. Speaking about the new capsule at WWD, Kim Jones said:

“The clothes are based on Michael Jordan’s off-court style. He wore suits all the time — I love that. I like the fact that we’re doing something that’s extremely unexpected in terms of clothing”.

At the moment a complete list of the pieces included in the collection has not been made public, but in the two shots with which Nike announced the collaboration you can see that, in addition to a "Low" version of Air Dior (seen among other things at the foot of Kim Jones at Dior's FW20 from last Friday), the capsule will include t-shirts, silk shorts, a blazer, accessories and sports jackets. Instead, the ad includes a suede hoodie with engraved or pierced logos, a bomber jacket, cashmere knitwear, polo shirts and shirts, ties, trousers and four leather goods. All the garments will present the classic Dior colors and prints such as the Oblique motifs, Toile de Jouy and the wing prints, which are also a reference to the Jordan brand, and the Dior Gris colorway.

The Dior x Air Jordan capsule collection will be available in a limited edition starting next April at selected Dior stores and pop-ups. Stay connected to nss magazine for all updates on the capsule release date.
