Kim Jones has launched his very own brand Called KIM JONES, it will debut in 2027 with production mainly Made in Japan
Kim Jones is launching an independent brand bearing his name. Announced this very morning, October 12, KIM JONES will debut with its first collection in the second half of 2027, following a career that has seen the British designer hold leading roles at some of the world's top international fashion houses, including Dior and Fendi.
The new brand will offer a versatile wardrobe without rigid distinctions between different clothing categories. The focus will be on material quality, attention to detail, and garment functionality, with a price point carefully calibrated to the brand's positioning. Production will be concentrated primarily in Japan, while leather goods will be made in Italy.
With the launch of KIM JONES, the designer moves from the creative direction of established brands to the management of his own label. The first 2027 collection will reveal how this experience translates into the new brand's commercial offering and market positioning.
