Where to buy the Birkenstock by Valentino

The second drop of the most glamorous and comfortable collaboration of the year is here

Where to buy the Birkenstock by Valentino The second drop of the most glamorous and comfortable collaboration of the year is here

Birkenstock may have refused to work with Supreme, but they certainly didn't know how to say no to Valentino. The brand of the most popular sandals in the world and the luxury fashion house have joined forces and created two exclusive interpretations of the Arizona model. Introduced for the first time during the FW19 men's fashion show in Paris, the two available variants are total black with the Valentino VLTN logo on the side and in red leather with buckles and ton sur ton insoles.

This is an original collaboration that combines two apparently very different worlds, but that turned out to be an immediate success, as proved by the fact that actress Frances McDormand went on the stage of the Oscars 2019 with a yellow pair of Birkenstock x Valentino Garavani under a dress created by Pierpaolo Piccioli who, enthusiastic about the partnership, said:

I chose to start this collaboration with Birkenstock for the same reason that people choose Birkenstock every day. No matter what you wear, who you are, no matter what your gender or social background, age, style, no matter whether you are fashion conscious or not, Birkenstock has its own universal language. I liked the idea of combining the DNA of our Maison, represented by the individualistic and intimate world of classy fashion, with something so free and adaptable.

The first release of the sandals arrived in stores a few months ago and went sold out in a short time. Now the second drop offers to those who could not buy them another opportunity. The shoes are on sale at Valentino boutiques, on the maison's website, at Birkenstock stores and at the online store at the price of 340€ for the red version, 370€ for the black one.
