Since Fiorucci came back, relaunched a couple of seasons ago by British Janie and Stephen Schaffer, many have hoped to see again that unconventional, optimistic and funny spirit that made the brand iconic in the past. Until now, unfortunately, the label founded by Elio Fiorucci in 1967 has not yet managed to fully achieve the goal. It nearly touched it a few weeks ago with the collaboration with adidas and tries it again now with a partnership with HBX.

The streetwear store and Fiorucci have created a capsule collection for the SS19 inspired by the innovative and unmistakable graphics of the brand. The result is a series of garments available in green and archive pink with allover leopard print and neon fluorescent: from the reversible Angel Bucket Hat to the crop T-shirts in soft cotton, from runner shorts with high waist cut to the swimsuit with the iconic Fiorucci Angels on the front. You can buy the entire HBX x Fiorucci Summer Capsule exclusively on HBX

Fun fact: until August 25, 2019 Museo della Figurina in Modena pays homage to the eclectic genius of Elio with POP THERAPY, an exhibition that investigates the "Fiorucci phenomenon" through 200 figurines that compose Fiorucci Stickers album, published in 1984 by Edizioni Panini and summarizes the graphic image of the Milanese fashion house known throughout the world.
