Carhartt WIP has designed a capsule collection for the SS19 in collaboration with Australian skate brand PASS~PORT.
The two partners drew inspiration from the Northern Territory (NT), Australia's central-northern region known for its harsh and sterile conditions, to create a 12-piece selection that includes
clothing and
skate decks. The vast red earth deserts with hints of lush green become the basis of a palette of bright, dusty shades that appear in the
Detroit Jacket corduroy jacket with contrasting collars and gold trim; the short-sleeved T-shirts; the classic polo shirts; the embroidered sweatshirts; the cap; but also the
Simple Pant and
Stations Pant. The same colors of the earth also characterize the skate decks with the new
co-branded logo.
The entire Carhartt WIP and PASS~PORT collection will arrive at Carhartt WIP stores, selected PASS~PORT retailers and online on Thursday, May 23.
