ONO ARTE CONTEMPORANEA and GAS together to celebrate Kurt Cobain

After a successful first collaboration, the Vicenza brand GAS returns to collaborate with the Bologna art gallery ONO ARTE CONTEMPORANEA on the occasion of the photo exhibition dedicated to Nirvana and realized on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the birth of Kurt Cobain.

Kurt Cobain 50: Il grunge nelle foto di Michael Lavine stages the adventures of a band that, in just five years of activity, has shocked and revolutionized the music scene, has transformed the alternative rock into a real cultural phenomenon and he gave voice not only to the discomfort of his generation but also of those to come, through the impressive photographic archive of Michael Lavine.

From these unique and raw shots, comes a capsule collection of 2,000 t-shirts and sweatshirts, limited edition and numbered, in which the unique style of Michael Lavine and that of GAS come together through the reinterpretation of some iconic shots made by the American photographer from the creative minds of the famous Venetian company.

"It is an honor for us to be called again by ONO ARTE to reinterpret one of the most influential and charismatic artists of the last decades. (...) The collaboration with ONO Arte Contemporanea aims to cross borders and create synergies between different sectors and disciplines such as art, music and, of course, fashion ", stated Barbara Grotto, Director of Marketing and Communication at GAS.

The exhibition Kurt Cobain 50: Il grunge nelle foto di Michael Lavine opens today and will remain open to the public until January 31, 2018. The limited edition t-shirts will be on sale at the authorized GAS points of sale and on GAS.
