The news comes as a bolt from the blue: Rick Owens and adidas ending forever their cooperation.
The announcement comes by email from Owenscorp, declaring a natural, absolutely peaceful conclusion to the partnership after four years of unquestionable success.
Perhaps a clear clue as to what had just happened could have been hypothesized following the SS18 fashion show, where co-branding footwear with Hood Rubber, a historic American shoe brand, was presented.
So goodbye adidas, welcome Hood Rubber.
