Louis Vuitton Resort18 is a love letter to Japan

We are in the middle of the Cruise/Resort collections for the season 2018 and Nicolas Ghesquière takes us to the heart of Japan for his Louis Vuitton Resort18.

Set into the dream location of the Miho Museum located in the southeastern part of Kyoto and designed to be a modern Shangri-La, Ghesquire chooses to collaborate with the visionary designer Kansaï Yamamoto. The result of this union is a collection that celebrates Japanese culture with traditional prints and Kabuki-inspiration make-up through a rich mix of different layers, designs, and textures for a series of aggressive and tomboyish looks.
