Normally Munich, currently Berlin, Germany

How are you living the quarantine? Fears and dreams?

I normally live in Munich but have been in Berlin for the last 4 weeks with my boyfriend. His flatmate is staying somewhere else, so we have his apartment for the two of us. Monday to Friday I spent my days in one Zoom call after the other with my team or other people at Conde Nast Germany. I find myself talking to my family which lives in Vienna more than I normally do. I try to go for a walk once a day but sometimes get really anxious when I see groups of people hanging out in the streets as if they haven’t got the news yet. Most of the time I feel quite numb about everything. Kind of like my brain cannot fully process what is happening. Just starring at a computer all day long doesn’t help and makes me question what is really important & what all of this means for my small worlds but also society at large. I have the deepest respect for who does not have the privilege to continue their work from home. I do not think that we will get back to our old normal at any time. We will come out of this with a new version of normal. As much as we speculate about it right now, the last weeks showed us that all of that does not matter and we have to take it day by day.
