Si chiama Jenny Morgan, newyorkese, e ciò che ci propone è qualcosa di diverso da ciò che siamo abituati a vedere. I suoi ritratti iper-realistici parlano di persone dalla vita ordinaria e Jenny vi invita ad analizzarle con l’uso di un netto contrasto tra i forti colori, le ombre e i movimenti che rendono unica ogni sua opera. Mette molta cura nel rendere chiara l’emotività dei suoi personaggi, cosa che non accade ,però, con l’anatomia che pare sia quasi strofinata via dal colore e dalla dissolvenza.
Da pochi mesi si è conclusa una sua esposizione alla “Like the Spice Gallery” a Brooklyn, grazie alla quale ora è considerata una delle più interessanti artisti emergenti nella sfera della grande mela.
Her name is Jenny Morgan, New York, and she suggests something different from what we usually see. Her hyper-realistic portraits talk about ordinary people and Jenny invites you to analyze them with the use of a net contrast between strong colors, shadows and movements which make all of her works unique. She puts great care into making her characters’ emotions clear, a thing that doesn’t happen, instead, with anatomy which seems to be almost wiped away by color and fade.
A few months ago one of her exhibits ended at “Like the Spice Gallery” in Brooklyn, thanks to which she is now considered one of the most interesting emerging artists in the sphere of New York.
