--01 How is Paris nowadays?
Paris is full of contradictions but despite its flaws I couldn't live somewhere else !
--02 Where is your happy place/sanctuary in Paris and why?
The first district and Its Japantown. As I can't travel to Japan as much as I would like, at least I find there similar feelings to those of my favorite country, like a very varied and delicious offer of Japanese dishes.
--03 What do you think is the most interesting creative scene in the city right now?
The gastronomy of course ! Covid had a very negative impact on the catering industry due to the forced closure and restrictions but since then a lot of new places have managed to emerge. Paris is a city that offers a variety of new restaurants that amazes me and a new generation of talented chefs as well, especially women.
--04 What are 3 places in Paris (bars, clubs, restaurants, stores...) you would bring a friend visiting you to?
I would say Kanaga Records shop for the good vibrations and the picky selection of vinyl discs (not only because it's my lover's store), the Jacquemart-André Museumand its spectacular decoration ( a 19th century residence) and at last, the restaurant Le Brandevin (Paris 16th) for its traditional and family like welcoming, at the opposite of all the trendy spots you can find here.
--05 What is something you believe Paris is currently missing?
The sea! But as the City has promised to clean la Seine before The 2024 Olympic Games, the problem should be quickly solved. Definitely not the sea but not so bad.
