The Miami Grand Prix is just around the corner, and the entire Ferrari world is gearing up for a weekend that will certainly be remembered. The Scuderia will indeed turn blue to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its arrival on the North American market, presenting limited editions of liveries, technical equipment, and merchandise. In particular, the two shades of blue - Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino - have been integral to the Maranello team for many years and will make their appearance again after about fifty years of absence.

The first driver to race in F1 with a blue Ferrari was Raymond Sommer in the 1950 Monaco Grand Prix, the only race in which he managed to finish in F1 and ended up in fourth place. Even the legendary Argentine driver Juan Manuel Fangio had already raced in a blue Ferrari, albeit not in F1. The designs of the liveries and items mentioned above delve into the history of the Cavallino, bringing back to light the Azzurro La Plata (the official racing color of Argentina in the 1950s) that characterized a section of the Ferrari 375 Special with which Alberto Ascari raced in the 1952 Indianapolis 500 and was also used in the '60s on the suits of some drivers and in 1974 by Niki Lauda for his first year at Ferrari. The Azzurro Dino, on the other hand, was favored by various other drivers, including notable names like Clay Regazzoni - the last to wear a racing suit of this color, in 1974 - and Arturo Merzario. In Miami, the red with white inserts will give way to blue in the drivers' kits throughout the weekend and in Sunday's race for the rest of the team.

The celebrations, however, will not stop at the track, and the two drivers of the team will drive two Ferrari 296 GTS Assetto Fiorano, which will open the Ferrari Parade on Sunday, specially customized for the tour of events that will take place in the United States. Leclerc and Sainz will have at their disposal limited edition racing suits, helmets, gloves, and shoes for the GP at the Hard Rock Stadium, along with shoulder straps designed by Rocco Iannone, the Cavallino's Creative Director. For the occasion, Ferrari has also inspired some of its team partners to develop limited edition collaborations, such as the Puma capsule collection and the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses.

Finally, while on one hand, there is a look to the past, with a dive into history and tradition, on the other hand, there is a look to the future. Recently, an agreement has been announced with HP, which will become the title sponsor for the Miami GP and for the upcoming seasons. Fred Vasseur, Team Principal of Ferrari, expressed enthusiasm at the idea of celebrating the legacy of the team and also welcoming HP as a new partner, with whom Ferrari shares many values, including a winning mentality and a clear line of thought focused on constant pursuit of excellence and technological innovation. Let's then get ready to see Ferrari - for the first time under the name of Scuderia Ferrari HP - with a completely new livery, with HP at the forefront in a Red with intertwining of Azzurro Dino and Azzurro La Plata.
