Venezia has a track-suit inspired by the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics

Venezia FC took to the pitch at the Pier Luigi Penzo Stadium for the 25th matchday of the Serie B championship in a new club item. The gray tracksuit with the iconic Omini stripes in green and orange on the shoulders, sleeves and legs is the centerpiece of the new LA84 collection, which was inspired by the jerseys worn by the US national team at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. A return to the origins for the Piedmontese brand, which over the years has dressed the fastest track and field athletes in the world, in particular the dominator of those Olympics, Carl Lewis. The son of the wind was the first athlete after Jesse Owens to dominate in four speed events, crossing the finish line unchallenged each time in his Stars and Stripes uniform with Omini.

And on the 40th anniversary of this historic edition, and just a few months before the highly anticipated Paris 2024 event, Venezia wanted to celebrate the relationship that links the Lagoon Club to the States, strengthened by the Niederauer presidency. It is also a reminder of Kappa's excellence in the world with its timeless design and how the company has managed to anticipate fashions and trends by combining lifestyle and performance even on the world's most important sporting stage.

The LA84 collection is already available in the club's online store and in the Rialto and SS Apostoli stores in Venice and Ca' Venezia in Mestre.
