The Spanish brand Pompeii was already on the radar of football fans this summer when it teamed up with the famous Ibiza club Pacha to design a capsule collection, the centrepiece of which was undoubtedly a football shirt. Now he has decided to go one better and create a fictitious football club, the Pompeii Club de Fútbol, which aims to be the best-dressed team in the world. For the 2023/24 season, they have teamed up with Kappa Sports to design a jersey that pays direct homage to the aesthetics of Real Madrid, a club of which the brand's founders are huge fans.

The result is an all-round experience that prioritises aesthetics over performance and which, as the brand says on the website, "has everything we would want from a club if we ever owned one" The first drop features precisely a green long-sleeved jersey, highlighted by the stripes with the little men hanging from the shoulders, while the contrasting polo collar gives a vintage look while being perfect for fans. On the chest, the place of the main sponsor has been taken by the words Madrid in italics, while the logos of Kappa and Pompeii Club de Fútbol are in gold. A scarf in the same colours was also shown at the beautiful photo shoot, although it is not yet available in stores.
