CHARLY Fútbol creates kits inspired by Call of Duty To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the video game

Just under two weeks ago, the video game  Call of Duty celebrated its first 20 years: the legacy continues to assert itself year after year (today marks the debut of Call of Duty Modern Warfare III), and to celebrate this historic milestone, what better idea than to connect with the football industry? Activision decided to collaborate with CHARLY Fútbol, a Mexican sportswear brand. The two parties have chosen to do things on a grand scale, structuring a partnership not only with a specific club but with all those participating in the Liga MX and sponsored by CHARLY Fútbol: Atlas, León, Club Santos Laguna, Pachuca, Xolos, and Querétaro.

Standing out on each jersey is a pixelated pattern that harks back to the aesthetics of Call of Duty. Each club will have a jersey with a fitting pattern in their own team's colors. The result of this collaboration, at least for some clubs, is quite impressive. In particular, the Atlas kit strikes a nice balance between technical and commercial sponsors, unlike that of Queretaro, which appears rather cluttered due to the combination of too many logos and the new, not very understated pattern. The Call of Duty effect is making an impact on everyone; about a month ago, Napoli had announced a partnership with the video game, where the players, coached by Rudi Garcia, had divided into two teams - one led by Osimhen and the other by Di Lorenzo.
