The new Champions League 2022/23 balls

In the eagerly-awaited day when the groupings of the next Champions League will finally be drawn, adidas today presented the two balls that will be used by the women's and men's teams in Europe's most coveted competition. The two balls designed for this exciting season by the three stripes are inspired by the absence of light in space and the way stars shine in a vacuum and have been produced in two different colours, white for the men and grey for the women.

In addition to the new graphic details and the historic first ball for the Women's Champions, adidas has also used a new technology for its balls that we will most likely also see in a few months at the World Cup in Qatar. All of them will feature the innovative PRISMA surface texture that offers players even greater precision on every control and movement. The new outer coating - found on all adidas UEFA Champions League Official Match Balls - offers secure grip and total control, while the thermally bonded, seamless construction ensures top-level performance.
