Winning a derby is always a great pleasure. For Daniele De Rossi, it was an even bigger thrill than he had expected, as he later revealed in a press conference. "I don't think there's a happier person in the world right now than me," he admitted after the game, and the same could be said of the entire Giallorossi fanbase, who managed to win a stracittadina again after more than two years of defeats against the Biancocelesti. Gianluca Mancini's goal ended an almost 400-minute scoring drought for Roma and recalled the goal scored 20 years later by another Mancini - Amantino - with a backheel under the Curva Sud to decide De Rossi's first derby as a player.
