Just as we are in the middle of the national break, Danish brand BLS Hafnia and Hummel have joined forces to create a new jersey for the Danish national football team who will make their debut in the friendly against Serbia on 29 March. The jersey actually pays homage to the new generation of players who will be in Qatar this December and will be part of a wider lifestyle collection from Hummel, BLS Hafnia and DBU. The new national team jersey won't be too far removed from past jerseys, but the two brands have left the base white and added a tone-on-tone monogram where the three logos meet in a common thread, while for the design the creators have taken inspiration from the iconic 1986 and 1992 jerseys. In addition, the jerseys worn by the national team will be auctioned off and all proceeds will be donated to DBU Get2 football schools with the aim of supporting local football teams in vulnerable residential areas.

"We want to show that the new generation is not afraid to dream big. We believe that diversity and inclusion are a strength, and it helps us develop when differences come together. At the same time, we want to highlight the idea of being together as a team and a country. This is true both in the world and on the football field".

In addition to the white jersey, Hummel and BLS Hafnia have also created a collection that consists of a varsity jacket, a pre-match jersey, hoodies, scarves and even a scarf. All the items are completely black with only the logos in white. The varsity jacket is the most interesting item, very simple but at the same time very elegant. A very popular item with both clubs and national teams, it has enjoyed uninterrupted popularity since the 1950s and in 2021 has become a season's go-to item after appearing in several different collections, in Louis Vuitton's FW21 as well as on the catwalk of the Boss x Russell Athletic show and as the star product of the Ghali x Benetton collection.

The collection is already available here.
