FC Inter Milan will be lead of the next Milan Design Week Talks, exhibitions and a challenge to redesign the livery of the Nerazzurri bus

FC Inter Milan will be among the protagonists of the upcoming Milan Design Week, the event that will involve the whole city from Tuesday 9 to Sunday 14 April.

The Nerazzurri club, together with RM Istituto Moda e Design, launched the "Design for Sport" initiative. The goal is to bring together professional designers and partners of the club with some talented students from the Milan high schools.

The different groups, chosen by the institutes and supported during all the two days by RM students, will challenge each other by designing the concept of the livery of the next season Nerazzurri's bus. The proposals will be shown in an exhibition that will inaugurate on April 13th at 18.00.

The contest will be accompanied, in 10-11-12 April, by a program of conferences, which will take place at the school's headquarters, in Via Casati 16. The talks will focus on the relationship of mutual influence that exists between sport and design. The voices of these debates will be some main sponsors of FC Inter such as Technogym or Pirelli, together with RM teachers. The CEO of FC Internazionale Milano Alessandro Antonello said:

"It is a great event, that demonstrates once more how the Inter brand is transversal and iconic for this city [...] Design Week is a great event for the city and Inter is proud to be able to take you active part [...] We believe in the talent of the guys who will work to design the livery for our team bus and in doing so they will be able to feel what passion and inspiration can come from the Nerazzurri colors ".

Antonello also will be part of the jury that will vote on the winning project, together with Giuseppe Marotta, the Vice-president Javier Zanetti, the project manager Inter Forever Francesco Toldo, the captain Samir Handanovic, Luciano Galimberti President of ADI-Association for Design Industriale, and by Pasquale Volpe, College Director RM Istituto Moda e Design.
