FC Inter announced female football team Another Italian will dedicate itself to the 'pink' team: Inter Women will start from Serie B

A few days after the victory in the Madonnina's derby that gave optimism at the whole black and blue fan base, there's another news that will make fans happy: Inter decided to start their adventure in women's football. Inter has bought the ASD Femminile Inter Milano title, a team that currently plays in Serie B, with six points after two games. Yes, just the team where plays, as a captain, Regina Baresi, daughter of Giuseppe.

The Inter Women news had been in the air for some time but was announced with great pride by Alessandro Antonello, managing director of the Milanese society, who spoke of

"a new fundamental chapter for the club, to complete a sports ecosystem that is increasingly enriched, based on a constant planning and a concrete vision for the future".

To try to reduce the huge gap between Italian and European football (the next 3 December will be awarded the best female footballer of the year, by France Football, and there's no Italians), Inter goes therefore to join other top Italian clubs that have recently launched in this parallel project: we are thinking of Juventus, Milan and AS Roma, but also of ambitious club such as Fiorentina and Sassuolo.
