Yellow is back on Chelsea away kit

The one that is about to begin will be a very important season for Chelsea as, after Antonio Conte’s departure and the arrival of the Sarri-Zola duo, it will have to redeem last season, when the FA Cup triumph slightly sweetened a failure year. Looking forward to the new season, the London club presented the new away kit with Nike, with the return of the yellow color after a few years.

Chelsea’s yellow kit made its first debut in 1963, becoming famous during some successful years during the Seventies. The last appearance was in 2014 when the Blues was branded by adidas. This shirt wants to celebrate the past of the club with modern and fresh lines. It also has a connection with the home kit, as it features the second line of Chelsea anthem - “Football is the game” - while the home shirt features the first one, “Blue is the color”.

The new 2018/19 Chelsea away kit will be worn for the first time on July 28. It is available July 20 at nike.com/chelsea and the Stamford Bridge Megastore.
