It is well known: German clubs are always the most advanced in programming. A few days after Borussia Dortmund release, Bayern Munich presented their new 2018/19 home jersey. The MMA (Munich Mixed Arts) was the location for the presentation of the shirt, worn for the first time by Neuer, Alaba, Martinez, Kimmich, Boateng, Müller, James and Lewandowski.
Produced once again by adidas, historical partner of the Bavarians, Bayern's home jersey is modern and nostalgic at the same time: all thanks to the geometric template that appear in the front of the shirt, naturally red, and reminiscent of the collections of the '80s and '90 but also the current away shirt of the German national team, which we will see in the next World Cup. The diamond pattern recalls the club's badge and the historical motto 'Mia san mia'. Another detail that the most alert will have surely noticed is the presence of the sponsor Qatar Airways on the left sleeve, a novelty of next year.
The Bayern kit is completed with marine blue shorts and red socks, is already on sale in the official store of the club and will be worn for the first time during the match that the Bavarians will play at the Allianz Arena against Stuttgart, and also on the occasion of the German Cup final against Eintracht Frankfurt of the next coach Nico Kovac.
