(Too) Old Trafford United will drop the season tickets' price for younger supporters to improve the atmosphere inside the Theatre of Dreams

Several times, José Mourinho complained about the atmosphere inside of Old Trafford, affirming more than once how the ‘heat’ can be felt more at Portsmouth’s Fratton Park than in the Theatre of Dreams. The Special One complained about the quiet atmosphere in Red Devils’ stadium, where many times there’s a calm feeling, not the one you need in the difficult times of the season. To answer to this ‘emergency’, the club decided to commit to trying to facilitate the access to the stadium at the younger supporters.

The request is the result of a meeting between the United management and the Manchester United Supporters’ Trust, turned into improving the atmosphere inside of Old Trafford. To do that, a series of season tickets in the Stratford End will be made more accessible to the younger supporters, dropping to £285 for the 18-25 aged. It’s a massive discount, almost the half of the cheapest adult season ticket. More, the club will move some sections of supporters, like the executives, the families, and the disabled groups, in order to free thousands of seats in the Stratford End for the loudest supporters. Will it be enough to make Old Trafford a living hell once again?
